Great success for the 5th Italian Game Festival that took place in the city of Urbino between 16/25 September 1994.
The city made its huge heritage available: the most advanced technologies were hosted in beautiful V Century environments; to take part to the events of the Festival ment therefore also to discover new beautiful places, to play in amazing spaces, and to get around areas rich in history and culture.

The Italian Game Festival was confirmed as a point of reference in Italy for all those people who deal with ludic culture and games: it welcomed not only specialized people that could participate to very specialized challenges, but also kids, adults, families, children, elderly people. Everybody could find his game and his space.
Some numbers: 20.000 visitors, 10.000 free boardgames loans from the playroom, 3.000 registrations to the many different Tournaments and Championships. More than 2.000 children coming from the neighboring schools visited the Festival and another 6.000 took part in it, directly in their classes with the Memory and Sapientino Tournament.
At the end, the joyful prize giving of the Tournaments conducted by Marco Danè.
